Parent-Teacher Conferences
We offer parent-teacher conferences two times a year. Fall Conferences are held in October and Winter Conferences are held in February. Winter Conferences are prioritized for team conferences with identified students (by invite) and there are more limited slots for open individual conferences
Sign-ups for conferences will be handled with an online Sign Up Genius form. Links to the online form will be made available before conferences.
Fall Conferences
October 8: 4:30-8:30 p.m.
October 9: 4:30-8:30 p.m.
- Conference Sign Up opens Mon Sept 22 and closes Sun Oct 5. All conferences are In Person at Deer Creek Middle School
- Review your student’s Tri 1 schedule and grades before signing up for conferences. You will only sign up for teachers that your student currently has in Trimester 1. Each teacher has their own individual sign up, accessible through the link below
- Plan to bring your student with you to conferences.
- Conferences are scheduled with individual teachers and are 5 min in length, per teacher. You will move between teacher classrooms for each 5 min conference. Come prepared so you can make the most of your 5 minutes with each teacher.
- Conferences are optional and teachers’ 5 min time slots are limited. Please prioritize scheduling with just the teachers you really need to meet with - you do NOT need to schedule a conference with all teachers
- If you do not need an in-person appointment with your student’s teacher, but would still like to touch base, please email the teacher
- Due to a limited number of conference slots, you may not be able to schedule with all teachers you would like to meet with. In this case, please reach out to the teacher directly via email to request an alternate time to have a brief phone conversation.
- Please allow at least 5 minutes between teachers you sign up for, so you have time to move between classrooms.
- If you miss your scheduled time slot with a teacher, you will need to contact that teacher via email to arrange an alternate time for a brief conversation. We cannot accommodate conference rescheduling the night of conferences.
