Deer Creek has a rich history of academic excellence by fostering personal growth and nurturing the talents of our students. Middle school is a time of social, physiological, emotional, and developmental changes and challenges for many kids, which makes the job of middle schools much more than mere academic instruction. Deer Creek has long prided itself for the choices and exploratory opportunities that we provide students. Strong core instruction, that engages and challenges students, is paired with a wide range of electives that provide both exploration and depth for student interests. Supporting that instruction is a school-wide effort to build student social-emotional skills and provide smaller communities within the school at large through our advisory program, activities, leadership opportunities and sports.
